The kiss

Sitting in front of you,
I softly tell you about your beauty.

My legs crossing yours,
And our hands holding,
Never breaking eye contact.

"Your eyes.
I could gaze upon them for the rest of my days!
Those deep brown eyes,
Which contrast to your caramel skin so perfectly,
I wouldn't doubt it if Aphrodite herself blessed you.

Your smile, so pure and innocent,
Fits ever so perfectly.
And your soft silken hair,
Falls with such grace."

Then, softly moving my hand,
I caress your delicate face,
Down the jawline,
And hold your chin.

I move closer.
I can feel your breath.
Our eyes closing,
Our lips tenderly meet,
At our sunset retreat.
