Forgetting You
If I could have known
what would happen...
I never would have done it...
Seeing as though my second sight
has been blinded as of late...
Yet and still...
Had I known I would have stopped myself
I would have stopped myself from deleting
the very essence of you...
from my mind.
As your whimpers slithered in and out of
my thoughts like leeches ....sucking the memory
right outa my soul
So malicious and bitter you are....
angry that you....
will not be remembered.
like a curse...everything that has
anything to do with you....just seems to
Fade...leaving only a faint feeling of
Wonder...as those who used to know you
only ponder what it was they were even thinking about
Before your name....was erased
Replaced with...a heavy nothingness..
like the way your ears feel after landing
from an airplane ....
As you scream out
from beyond the great beyond
restless...and frightened...
I... shut you out...
you did this to yourself
All ways so hungry in life to be seen
When in reality you were just...
A fine Husk...
Something Nice to look at...
while hollow on the inside
In my dreams...my tears stream down my cheeks
as your soul makes a plea....
Your only request...
Not to be forgotten...
But in life....you were so rotten
As you bleat like a sheep going to slaughter
You ask me for water
because the places you've been ...and are going
are so much dryer...and hotter
You send me visions of child abuse
that you used to receive from your Mother
along with a million other little things
that made you the monster
You became.....to me
Now because I have done a work...of forgetting
Your soul wont rest...
as you continually vex me....
Almost to the point of torment....
Yet..I refuse to give you what you want...
Next step....
A banishment...as I burn sage in double doses
when I sleep....
I know you don't want to be forgotten...
But truth is....
if it hurts you this much in death
Then I will make sure....
I forget you all the more...
because it eases MY pain
The More I forget ...your name.
what would happen...
I never would have done it...
Seeing as though my second sight
has been blinded as of late...
Yet and still...
