Darkside
We all have a darkside we don't like to show or go there
If mine comes out will you regret the day you layed eyes
upon my face?
But in this rat race of life it can't help but to come out
So I sit in the pouring rain and cry, tears rolling down my pale face
Just as different as leather is from lace
So is darkness and brightness
And my darkside shines more often than the bright
It may be less than right
But take me for who I really am like it or not
Because not a pretender will be I
So here I stand rendered still deep in thought
even if I were under ultraviolet light
My darker side still prevails hauntingly bright
Some days my heart is cold as ice and I wish
I could be turned into stone just leave me alone in my dark despair
I know I was never meant for repair
