Lovebird

Hey I aint complaining...my life is pretty good at the momment

I'm good without you, God already filled that chasme in my heart

I aint empty but I'll admit I'm lonely

we broke the creed between us and I made a simple observation

your a love bird, you feel empty so as soon as its over it starts with somebody else..

your trying to fill a void that cant be filled by these "playas" and "bad boys" so say you love

but hey...you cant help it... and I'm sorry for that, I just pray that you will find true happiness one day and fill that empy void inside your soul

they say without a partner...without love a lovebird cant live....

but I wont let love be my killer...I wont fall for the fallen

I'm over you...but there is this loneliness in me

but I wont be co dependent girl, not like you..I wont be the victim of a magnet's attrraction

I wont be a victim, I wont be used

I wont be a lovebird...I'll be a predator, so I'll put my hood on and walk away

But I aint gonna play cat and mouse with you...I aint your enemy

I'll sit and wait....on this web of life like a spider...and when the right prey comes my way...I may take advantage of the opportunity or not... I can wait for love

but if I have to be a love bird...lets see how long I can live without somebody's love.
