Judge of the World

I am the Judge of the World
and the world judges me.
From my mountain I sit on
Looking down on all that I see.

Everyone is a sinner.
Filled with wrongdoings and shame.
From my mountain I sit on
I cast down my blame.

Everyone is a dreamer
a world filled with hope.
From my mountain I sit on
I am an outcast misanthrope.

Everyone takes a lover.
Everyone has a friend.
From my mountain I sit on
who am I to condescend?

I see others just like me
on mountains just as high.
From my mountain I sit on
I walk down with a heavy sigh.

From the mountains you sit on
you will find yourselves alone.
Cut off from everyone
The humanity you disown.

With acceptance and forgiveness
Stronger friendships we sow.
From the mountains you sit on
What could you possibly know?

Judges of the World
Perched up high on your thrones.
Who are you to judge?
To everyone, to each his own.

Everyone has a mountain.
Everyone has a dream.
Everyone has their sins.
Everyone is a king.

For I am the Judge of the World.
Only fit to judge: Me.
