Welcome to my insanity

Wearing a mask is so exhausting
A fake smile to hide my tears
A fake laugh to hide my pain
I can't remember the last time
I actually felt true happiness

This is my insanity

Hiding things is so stressful
Wearing bracelets to my hide cuts
Wearing jeans to hide my scars
You would never know by looking
What hides below the surface

This is my insanity

Bottling things down doesn't help
Any emotion of pain i push down
Any emotion of sadness i push down
When my bottle gets to full
Just hope you aren't too close

This is my insanity

Insomnia can really take its toll
A fear of the dark like a little girl
A fear of nightmares that come with sleep
I cant remember the last time i
slept through out the night
