Jasmine's Return

(This is part two of a 3 part series, Goodbye My Lovely Jasmine, Jasmine's Return, Letter From Jasmine)

The buzzing in my ear
Hating what I hear
I hide inside my head
To be free
From what was said
But the noise follows me

The voices still whisper
And I still ignore her
I still always run
She still finds it fun
Still chasing after me
And still changing what I see

Tears behind my eyes
Watching as she cries
Shared love, she misses
As for I, the cold kisses
She knows I won’t give what asked of
Yet she still asks for my love

If we go back as before
She’ll shred my heart once more
Betrayal, spit on me
Used, and could not see
And if I let her stay
I will surely pay

Banished to my mind
To lay and wait
Until I release the bind
But not while I still hate
No matter her plea
She’ll wait to be free

Please, read my other work, and enjoy.
