Acceptance

I am the embodiment of sorrow

Humanities sins and a hopeless tomorrow

My existence holds no worth, no purpose

An ugly duckling amongst swans, lurking

Save your worries, save you tears

I will no longer live in denial, behind fears

My future has always been crystal clear

I will continue to lose everyone I hold dear

Love will always be followed by more tears

Pain will increase, to suffer is my destiny

Life will be the end of me, nothing can save me

It's inevitable, can't you see, I am ... misery

Hopes, dreams forms of an idealistic fantasy

I’m just a fool bound to life's scheme

Lost between broken dreams

Drowning in my ever growing insanity

Unable to remember or fathom being happy    

I’m not here for you to try to understand me

I don’t need fixing there is no glitch in my program

Prescribe your pills to those who can’t accept it

Provide you therapy for those who can’t cope with it

I live with acceptance, I am the target and life is the weapon

Broken falling to pieces, awaiting life’s arrow of death to hit
