How often I wish to confirm your existence
To listen to the thrumming of your heart
To know that I’m not dreaming or imagining
To know that you are there
And not just air
Without a doubt how I wish
I wish to hear your heart
I wish to feel your touch
I wish to see your face
And know that you’ll always be in my heart
Your face shows me who you are
Your touch means that you’re not dreamt or imagined
And the sound of your heart means that you are here
This is all I need to confirm your existence
