Dead rail lines.

What a hope I had coming here
so glad we're not together
burned maself on the fire
the regrets pile like bodies
no one's writing an odyssey for me
Can't you help me,someb'dy?

The earth scorched with betrayal and dismal dark
leaned on the edge of the cliff and never looked back.
I'm worried one day I'll learn what all this was for
and when I know,I won't like the answer.

You blame me for everything
and I'm too willing to go along with it
But if my inferiority complex took a backseat
You'd realize it's fucking shit.

Heaven knows,I gotta lotta makin up to do
that ma time here in England is through.
whether you like it or not
I'm not the doormat that you thought.
