Skeleton Indian

Lying down on the ground
Headdress and all
Skinned and boned
Laying there all alone
Stand up for me
Let your spirit speak
The population is down
and lost without a sound
Skeleton Indian rise up
and let your voice be heard
Throughout the nation
that no longer hears out
for anyone
Skeleton Indian
I need you to light the fire
that went out when you were lost
in the dark
I need the voice to help
us all out
We need a leader
not a feeder
Our addiction has lost everything
that we once had
Skeleton Indian
We need you now...
