One Last Fall (Never Again)
I'm not even halfway through
Still too far away from you
My mistake to let you pass
looking at you through the glass
Can you play me one more song?
to make me feel like I belong?
But I'll be forever lost
till my body dies in frost
Part of the forgotten lore
I'll be here forevermore
Thoughts of you seep in my soul
But pain has taken all control
Purple door and syrofoam walls
Music hanging on the halls
You have trapped me in delirium
Memories are my asylum
One last fall then never again
Skin my paper, a razor my pen
Union will never happen
wounds of past will only deepen
You're the crystal to my meth
I'm the chrysalis, you're a heath
You're the mary to my jane
But I'll love you never again
The melodies that shred my soul
the memories that take control
It's all going down the drain
Now I'm going quite insane
One last fall, to end it all
Never again, love will see me through
One last fall, the final call
Never again, will I fall for you.
Still too far away from you
My mistake to let you pass
looking at you through the glass
Can you play me one more song?
to make me feel like I belong?
But I'll be forever lost
till my body dies in frost
Part of the forgotten lore
I'll be here forevermore
Thoughts of you seep in my soul
But pain has taken all control
Purple door and syrofoam walls
Music hanging on the halls
You have trapped me in delirium
Memories are my asylum
One last fall then never again
Skin my paper, a razor my pen
Union will never happen
wounds of past will only deepen
You're the crystal to my meth
I'm the chrysalis, you're a heath
You're the mary to my jane
But I'll love you never again
The melodies that shred my soul
the memories that take control
It's all going down the drain
Now I'm going quite insane
One last fall, to end it all
Never again, love will see me through
One last fall, the final call
Never again, will I fall for you.
