Why; why must I be shunned?
Abandoned thought of as nothing more than an example of how wrong one’s life can go
Why must you judge before getting the chance to know; recognize me for who I am?
Give me a chance do not condemn me
For being me
Yes this is me I’m a queer and proud
I’ll kiss my chick in front of you and your crowd
Yes I have a child and he’s the water to my land
No need to look down because I have no husband
No matter what I’m proud of me

i like your spirit , and i agree ppl should stop judging us by who we date.. then again there are assholes in this world, you just hafta get over it :)
