Off the top right now
I like to write poems off the top
I mean what better way to share your thoughts then with purest intentions
and did I mention that Im programmed to with this creative intuition
basically what im saying is that I been doing this since the beginning
like since the beginning when man was sinning
my thoughts have been blessed by the heavens and are still winning
winning as in not losing
even with the ego brusing that life gives you
Im choosing to do the opposite of the basic hood cat
and after that I wanna be the best in everything
hoist that trophy at the end of the season
and at the start of the next season wear that ring
its a jungle out there and Im a lion so I was born to be a king
and Im not lying Im trying to do it all before Im face up in clinching my chest saying Im dying
so for the moment let me live like Im immortal and step inside my mind portal and be like me and make the choice to do what you gotta do...
with reason take a moment and breath and dont commit treason against yourself
remember its always killa season and stop letting the problems of
your life be the reason you gonna always be on your knees

Writing poems "off the top" is a very good practice: my philosophy is that if YOU write the poem, then it's not real—it's just you marking up a piece of paper—the poem has to come out on its own.
My only "critique" is that the lengthier lines break up the structure of it a little, but that's about it for me. Nice work.
