Life at our fingertips?

What if what's suposed to be isn't?  
One small detail is different  
Does that change everything?  
Imagine making one small error  
One stupid meaningless mistake  
That effects the rest of your life  
How your story ends  
The people in your life  
Who loves you  
Who you give your heart too  
 
Is it fair?  
We are only human  
Why don't we get more chances  
To mess up and get a happy ending  
Why must things be one way or the other  
 
Is there a balance?  
Do good, good comes  
Is it up to us  
Our future?  
 
Or does someone greater plan out our life?  
A god, decides what we can handle  
How stronge we are, what he knows we can get through  
He knows our place on this earth  
How many hurtles we can and must achieve  
 
What if I want answers?  
To know which lives I will touch  
Will my dreams come true  
Even if there not in your plan  
 
What if I don't like your plan  
Feel as if you should have given me different gifts  
I want to fly, soar fearlessly and free  
Go where I believe I am needed  
 
Will you stop me with a detour?  
Or did i just answer my question?
