Together

Strip me from my earthly form, but leave my soul exposed
Peel back my flesh and see the immaculate beauty within
Open these doors of passion, for they have been forever closed
Release me from my prison and allow us to begin
 
Bind me to you in a way that has never been done before
Take my hand, whisper in my ear, kiss my lips, and bestow upon me your soul
To mix ours as one, your essence, you shall pour
As one we are incomplete, but together we are whole
 
Dance within my utmost interpersonal thoughts and dreams
Guide me through them, for I do not know where they lead
Let us follow the wonderful, scenic, flowing streams
We shall walk through this garden of serenity; it is what we crave and truly need
 
Hidden deep inside are the loveliest desires
With yours, mine will intertwine to create the perfect fantasy
We will ignite our passionate, forever- burning fires
Together we shall form our own unique reality
 
 
 
 
I have already edited this poem several times, and I am still not quite satisfied. The first stanza has been the same everytime, because I really love those lines... but other than that, everything has changed. Including my topic.I believe I will add to this, but for now, it shall be posted like this.
