The more I try to forget
The more i cannot let go
With thoughts and accusations
That are bound to be foretold
With hidden secrets high and low
Deep feelings; emotions running beyond and below

I try and tell you exactly how i feel
But I always back down still trying to keep it real
You know me, decisions are not my strength
With every bad choice I desperately try to make amends
I try to express what I am trying to say in words
It seems that is the only way that works

Even though I do, I still do not have the courage to
  give it to you
It hurts me to know how you feel
And I cannot even tell you how you make me feel
Please believe me when I say that I try
That much is real; it isn't something I would conceal

I'm sorry that I hurt you
That's all there is to say
If you do not believe me, then I guess it is better this way
I suppose trying was never going to be enough for you anyway.
