The Path of my Desire

 Let me show you
  the path to my heart
 Please be patient
  time plays a part

 For this trail is not
  as easy as it seems
 you'll have to take careful steps
  to make my eyes gleem

 Watch your step
  don't get knocked off track
 Once you lose the scent
  you may not find your way back

 Don't forget your hiking boots
  this path gets slippery when wet
 It's known for sudden downpours
  There's no telling how many you will get

 Flames from your touch
  will light the way
 So you won't get lost
  as night turns into day

 Use your compass
  starting at the mouth
 This trail is tricky
  because it's headed down south

 Blackberries line the pathway
  eat all you please
 Be careful they're delicious
  don't hurt yourself on these

 Pace yourself
  there's more to see and do
 Follow the path to the end
  and a "refreshing" swim awaits you
