Twisted

endless ocean waves
tango with the full moon

a glow
of reflective diamonds dance
to royal velvet melodies

beyond the silver blades
of the seas edge
he emerges
secure in his godlike demand

crystals bounce
off every ripped contour

briefly
I fantasize

like a chocolate covered caramel

I bring him to my lips
close my eyes
breathe his decadence

nibble
his sweetness

delve into his richness

slowly he glides toward me
I peer deeply
into his pools of paradise

what was once a steady percussion
is now a rhythmless hammer inside

he smiles

the outside air vanishes

gently
he leans in

whispers softly in my ear

“does your brother have a boyfriend?”

I guess he wasn’t
the chocolate caramel
