Staying After Sex
Comfortable or strange
I wonder as I lay
In a bed that isn’t mine
Is this wrong, or is this right
How can she sleep?
She barely even knows me
Cuddled close beside me
Her fingers finding mine
Slowly becoming intertwined
Beginning to shut my eyes
As the sun begins to rise
It was half past three
Bright blue eyes gazing deep
Complimented with a smile
Whispered hello’s and soft kisses
As we continue to lay for awhile
I wonder as I lay
In a bed that isn’t mine
Is this wrong, or is this right
How can she sleep?
She barely even knows me
Cuddled close beside me
Her fingers finding mine
Slowly becoming intertwined
Beginning to shut my eyes
As the sun begins to rise
It was half past three
Bright blue eyes gazing deep
Complimented with a smile
Whispered hello’s and soft kisses
As we continue to lay for awhile
