True Colours

I tried to be a friend when you where down
you were alone no one close to be found
I gave you a chance didn't judge you at all
tried to catch you so you wouldn't fall
I listened to your every word
your drug psychosis I obsereved
gave you my shoulder  so you could lean on
tried to make you feel like you belong
welcomed you warmly into my home
feed you those times you were home alone
drove you around in my car
didn't matter to me even if it was far
would see our mate,  to you at cost
there was a time when we even lost
slowly your true colours did come out
and I got to see what you are really about
I tell you I didn't like what I saw
can't go back to how it was before
your so manipulative and stab people in the back
moral qualities you certainally lack
a time will come when you will need a friend
and as your too immature to make an amend
It wouldn't surprise me if you believe your own shit
that makes you  a really big hippocrite
I tried to guide you as best as I could
went out of my way like no one else would
now your back home it's just you again
you really lost yourself a loyal friend.
