One Last Kiss..

I watched your eyes
as the peered on me the whole time

I'd look away
take a chance go for something else

Watch you paint on that fake smile
know your "new happiness" wasn't happy

Just a show you wish me to see
but deep down you know

You cry yourself to sleep
thinking how you messed up

Remember all you ruined
and the pain inflicted

Secretly flip a blade over your knuckles
missing its trace on your skin

You wish for one more chance
one more kiss

Though it won't happen again
you fear I've moved on

All over that little rumor
which is true

You know it tore you apart
you even felt him wrap me in his arms

My smile kills your little heart
you know its fake too

I wait for a glance then paint it on
truely I'm falling apart

I couldn't stand to let you see though
just gonna keep dusting myself off

Get up and walk away
not let a soul see the pain

This poem proves
even I wish for one last kiss

Maybe this time I'll settle
and let the lonely take your place

or take the hand of another one
