Good to be back?

Seven days away
and now the streets
contain ogres once more.
One monster pisses against the wall
of an alley way
as parents walk by
with their kids.

I don't know
how so many people
came to limp.

Lucky for me
I'm reading Miller
and the rest can go
do whatever
it does with itself.
I try not to imagine much
just in case
the lines on their faces
are anything
to go by.
