hidden zone

it covers you up like the wave full of slime
where your thoughts, hands and legs get stuck
it makes you suddenly feel homesick
to long for town where you have been born hating the whole country
it makes your heart wound and unwound with the same dull pain of burning tears
keeping pace with the rhythm of your thoughts
yearning for childhood when everything has been sorted for you
when dinner has been cooked but you have been refusing to eat it most of the times
why no one cooks dinners for you now?
and when it happens – it’s not the same
it is made with other love
other hands
it’s been accepted by different person
it all squeezes your throat
place where you have been born
place which you are trying to forget
place which is soaked with your past, with your dried off shadow of the passed away days
it covers you up with the blanket of the leaking past
and you wonder in darkness for the search of the peace
for the search of the safe place where you could hide
from reality monsters made out of mixture of crushed hopes with bygone time
you seek after the corner where time and past have been forgotten
where everything has been frozen in childhood
in its sweetness and carelessness
you will search for it till the end of your days
but town where you’ve been born
calls and haunts you
covers and overlaps you
invites you there where everything is still real even though it all has been buried
where ground is soaked with your youthful hopes: so naive and trusting
it calls you and never lets you go
getting deeply rooted in you
making you suffer by pulling those damned roots
back to where they all belong
