Actions Tell

On the surface we have so many complexities
But it's what's underneath that keeps us here for more
If we express emotion through simplicity
Both of us will only try to ignore
Overwhelmed by truth that our souls offer
We often long for it to be there
But sometimes when we get what we're wanting
It only seems to leave us scared
Because caring can be a dangerous action
If the other person doesn't feel the same
Words can conceal the reaction
Of the risk that we're afraid to take
But the emotion never disappears
Intuition will tell you so if you let it
Still for a moment you can feel it right here
We only need actions to express it
Words are beautiful and touch us but
