Standard Reflections
Waking up again and looking at the mirror
She has no idea what to do
Since her purpose for life
Is not yet clear.
She walks in circles
“What am I doing here?”
Battered is her confidence
With nasty bruises of black and purple.
“Why the hell am I alive?”
She’s been the joke for some time
Every night she dreams of suicide
She cannot deal with fake hopes and personal lies.
“I have really no determination”
She lies awake in doubt
Cursing her existence
And ponders if she should tell her family
What are her thoughts are really all about.
Waking up again and looking at the mirror
She has no idea what to do
Since her purpose for life
Is not yet clear.
She walks in circles
“What am I doing here?”
Battered is her confidence
With nasty bruises of black and purple.
“Why the hell am I alive?”
She’s been the joke for some time
Every night she dreams of suicide
She cannot deal with fake hopes and personal lies.
“I have really no determination”
She lies awake in doubt
Cursing her existence
And ponders if she should tell her family
What are her thoughts are really all about.
