Butterflies

Summer brings butterflies
Performing their flutter dance
Among the garden flowers.

They fly and flit a zigzag pattern
Up, Down, Round, Askew -
O what a flutter dance they do.

From one flower to another
Then back to the last.

There time is short
They must dance fast.

O what a delight they are to view
As
Each summer brings them back anew.
