Free Falling
Like breath from the center of my being
pressed and expanded,
as I dangle atop this mountain of emotion
like the second before a roller coaster plummets
down a slope...my soul does loop de loops inside
of me as I am carried away on wings.....
of possibilities
Now, allowing this second wind to carry me into
a new place of discovery as I am recovering all
that I thought was once lost
now knowing that ...
the best things in life are free
and don't cost
Now I am shining...from the inside out
New found hope has burned through the haze
of all my doubts...
I am looking in the mirror no longer feeling displaced
and for the first time in a long time....there is
a real smile across my face....
No more living life in black and white
A rainbow awaits my days...and
deep shades of Indigo await in my nights
Finally the wrongs in my life have been made right
Finally pain and despair have taken flight, and I
am a free bird comfortable inside my own skin
Once again.
