Anabella Christine
Sunlight appeared to shine through her skin
I was still half asleep
Her little golden curls bounced as she hopped over to me
She looked so much like her father, I cringed at the thought of him
I smiled at her
"Mommy hug"
She stretches her arms out towards me
I reach out to take her, and my arms go right through
My angel became an angel
Where was everyone?
I scream in agony
No pain, no loss could match this
The loss was my heart, my mind
My daughter
I claw at the angels as they drag her away from me
Their faces were twisted in evil grins
The word collapses under the weight of my dead heart
I feel air leaving as I sob
Houses fall in ashes and flame
This was a sick and twisted game
I cursed them all
God himself
I promise one day
Vengeance will be mine
I've become something new
A new life
I am Goddess of war
I was still half asleep
Her little golden curls bounced as she hopped over to me
She looked so much like her father, I cringed at the thought of him
I smiled at her
"Mommy hug"
She stretches her arms out towards me
I reach out to take her, and my arms go right through
My angel became an angel
Where was everyone?
I scream in agony
No pain, no loss could match this
The loss was my heart, my mind

Their faces were twisted in evil grins
The word collapses under the weight of my dead heart
I feel air leaving as I sob
Houses fall in ashes and flame
This was a sick and twisted game
I cursed them all
God himself
I promise one day
Vengeance will be mine
I've become something new
A new life
I am Goddess of war
