They call it Summer Love

Sometimes I wonder,
Sometimes I think
would it be better
just to drink

my pain away. Kill
it at the source.
Memories of you
and all the remourse.

Never did you ever
appreciate anything i did.
Everyone I left
Losing time to be a kid.

All the girls i meet
proclaim love and leave.
I thought you were different.
Your name hidden in sleeve.

I know you say its "Hurting" you
but inside its killing me.
Maybe the drugs can help.
Mabye the gun could love me.

Maybe if I could pick locks
or stumble across the key,
Id still your love,
and keep it for me.
