Rain
I ought to let everyone know
I'm no longer the rain
The annoying drip left on your window sill
That muddy puddle you avoid stepping in
Wouldn't want to ruin those jimmy choos on me
I refuse to hide the streaming tears
The clearing of pigeon poop on your car
No I'm no longer the rain
More like the arched morph of colors in the sky everyone calls a rainbow
I'm no longer the rain
The annoying drip left on your window sill
That muddy puddle you avoid stepping in
Wouldn't want to ruin those jimmy choos on me
I refuse to hide the streaming tears
The clearing of pigeon poop on your car
No I'm no longer the rain
More like the arched morph of colors in the sky everyone calls a rainbow

Oh, I like this! I agree with Crim...the transformation from muddy puddle to rainbow is such a great metaphor! Good job!

Did you really feel like a mudpuddle G? Glad you are a rainbow now. Cool poem.

That was very touching, the truth in all the pain and misunderstanding. I truly liked this :)

I read it out loud, like I usually do to feel the depth and after reading it I smiled! I loved it!
