Image for the poem Soothing my disconfort

Soothing my disconfort

There's always something of you
Between words and clutter
and the thoughts taken apart and lost
Scattered here and there
on the black soil of my mind

Again the world will try to confuse me
Like a black butterfly that turns me around
Then the thought of you reappear
As if you were always here, on time,
To remind me that every day could be the last

One of the few good things that happen to me

We're travelers
passengers in permanent motion
out the window, the landscape flows
where nothing is created nor be destroyed
Between illusory reality
and endless metamorphoses

I embrace you in my mind tenderly,
as if it were the last time
While the world falls down
A desperate embrace, beyond time
The warmth of our love under the rain

Then your image fades again,
in the pitch black of my thoughts
Where will you go to hide now?
Who knows
You just still there, brat princess
Somewhere, in some corner of my soul

Another day goes by
but is not a day like any other
If you appear in my thoughts,
to remind me that every day should be the best,
soothing my disconfort
