Sometimes
Sometimes I wake up and
See the world as it really is.
Dead,
Just like the way you left me.
Sometimes I wake up and
See my heart as it really is.
Wasted,
Just the way you like it.
Sometimes I wake up and
See you as you really are.
Perfect,
Just the way you are.
Sometimes I wake up and
See nothing at all.
Nothing,
Which is what’s inside of me.
Sometimes I wake up and
See the light at the end of the
Tunnel;
Which leads straight to hell.
Sometimes I wake up and
Discover my once perfect now
Shattered
Life. Just how you like it, baby.
Sometimes I wake and
Breathe in the scent of you which
Lingered
On my clothes for all these years.
Sometimes I wake up and
See the teardrop that fell into
Oblivion.
Just the way you like it.
Sometimes I wake up and
Loneliness awaits me with
Outstretched
Fingertips. And I love it.
Sometimes I wake up and
Discover my once perfect now
Shattered
Life. Just how you left me.
See the world as it really is.
Dead,
Just like the way you left me.
Sometimes I wake up and
See my heart as it really is.
Wasted,
Just the way you like it.
Sometimes I wake up and
See you as you really are.
Perfect,
