Broken like my angel
I look you in the eye
I broke another angel
Then crushed a damned butterfly.
Passionate whore in the
Silhouette of his corpse,
Broken little teeth
Feed me, baby, feed me.
Shot his heart
Then he shot mine
What’s yours is mine
It’s about time, baby, it’s about time.
Living in the cemetery
Drinking liquor and my own blood
Feeling like nothing
Caked in mud
Six feet under you, baby,
Dead like everyone else,
You left me alone
You forgot me in hell!
If you only knew
What it’s like to be dead
So much pain I had to swallow
Love me, you had said.
Roses are red
Violets are bloodshot blue
Still lustful and a liar
I still love you, baby, I do.

Great! I really like the feeling it evokes (though it's dark). But sometimes there is a light or faint glow deep in the darkness.

Thanks so much for the comment, I really appreciate it. The thing is, my beliefs are set in something known as the "shade," and in the shade, I believe that light is cold and cruel. I believe that if the entire world was in darkness, there would be no hate, no racsism, and you could only base your opinions on another human being based on who they are as an individual and not what they look like. I don't want or require a faint glow of light in my darkness, because in the darkness, I see the light far better than I ever did living in the light. Anyways, sorry for the long response, I just thought I should explain why I write dark poetry, and sad love poems.
