I Promise Dear

All it take is one swallow
And I will have no tomorrow

My pain is over bearing and yours is even worse
But I guess the next time you see me I'll be in the back of a hurse

So here goes nothing
My one last gulp is coming

No water needed this isn't a pill
And the cuts it will leave will never heal

I lean back onto the could porcelain floor
I'll take my last glance at that bathroom door

Now down the cold metal goes
But then it seemed time only froze

The blood wouldn't pour
And I couldn't even move from the floor

So to Father Time I scream
And hope this isn't all just dream

Then time speeds back up...

The blade slides down
And I give no frown

As blood spews everywhere
I think of the memories we would once share

Now they are all dead
Cause all I see is red
