Thank You
I was crying and so lost,
alone and afraid today.
But you, those very people
who know who they are.
They held me and told me
that it was all okay.
So this is a poem of thanks
to those people who washed
away tears and brought back
a smile and laugh, even if only
lasting a moment.
Katherine, Anna, Andi,
Kendhra, Ashley, and Ashlyn.
You will never know
how much you all mean to me
in my world that was so small
before meeting you all.
Thank you, so much.
I really cannot express that
enough.

A simple note of thanks may never set the poetry sky ablaze - but it can still touch hearts.
