Dripping Rain

Each drop, stinging, buring, toxic
melting away my fleshy face
burning my skin in lines of disgrace

Shunned for my weakness of heart
slow beating from every side
I know they lied

Told me i'd be alright
there was nothing to worry about
that this was just a bumpy route

They were all wrong
im shedding tears
hidden in fears

Taking my sweet time
to let myself fade away
like the end of day

My eyes will close
it'll be the end
my last tear falls in the rain as i slowly fade away.
