Mae Means

 Candy
and flowers,
macaroni art and don't forget the
silly coupons you made in third grade.
Picnic at Grandmas, fantastic pies and salads.
Enough to hold you down till Fathers Day.
Smiles and laughter and not a whole bunch of depth thereafter.

But now it's white carnations,
scrunched faces and tears.
