Red Boxes.

You won't ever see
what I do to myself.
You'll never open
that red box on my shelf.

Your wildest dreams
couldn't ever compare...
to what I keep in that box,
the things that I dare.

Take a guess, if you want.
Atleast I have your attention.
I'll leave a big enough impact
to score an honorable mention.

A crumpled nurses slip
lies beneath your bed.
I remember slinging it at you
and crying, because you'd never understand.

44 lacerations,
up and down the right arm.
I wonder if you felt bad
for causing my self harm?
