The author encourages honest critique.
I am reminded of Sting's "Sister Moon". So goes the story that Sting was being pestered by a drunk in the streets of New Orleans. The guy kept on asking him, "How High Is The Moon". In an attempt to get rid of the guy without causing a scene, Sting replied, "My mistresses eyes are nothing like the sun".(From Shakespeare) The morale of the story being Shakespeare is useful for drunks for it makes them feel like you are more troubled then they are!

Sorry....Welcome To DU! Don't get discouraged if some of what you write doesn't get a lot of comments. Some type of poems get more reads then others, regardless of quality. The good thing is that when you do get comments they are typically very helpful.
