The Bleeding Red Carpet
I feel like my skin is shrinking
though it never seemed to fit quite right anyways
In a world of paper thin plastic dolls
my edges were always too jagged for "their" bubble
( Careful, it might pop.. )
Oh "beauty is only skin deep" society
why don't you try to wear me
then look at yourself though size 4 eyes
& tell me if your depth-less perception of a 13 year old on diet pills changes
Fuck your "normal"
Fuck your "high class" fashion
( Our worth is not determined by the clothes we wear )
Fuck your cookie cut women
their spray on tans
& silicone confidence

you are all ants
& I am the kid with the magnifying glass

i really liked it - perfect reflection of our nowadays fashion. i also was struck by the images of "shrinking skin", "jagged edges and a bubble", "cookie cut woman" (the last one is just brilliant, i will probably use it as a metaphor in my every day life lol )
the only change which could be done to this poem is to take words in brackets away. you are giving to many clues to the reader - i'm sure people can understand what you mean without you actually saying it.

love it the pain spoken about being an outcast its one i know for im not a normal person in peoples eyes. a very good read nice job
