Who Am I

Just who am I suppose to be?
How am I suppose to act, can someone please tell me,
Or, better yet, someone please help me to see,
That this life is not all about me, but it is about a we,
About a couple coming together as one,
This is how I am told that it is to be done,
Joined hand in had, playing in the warm summers sun,
To be united as a whole,
I guess this is how it is done, so I am told,
Sometimes I manage to lose sight,
Me, myself, and I are sure quick to pick a fight,
Thinking that either decision I have to make,
Could somehow be the last breathe I will manage to take,
Let's hope I travel down the road, make the right decisions for everyone's sake!
