"Oasis" ....
Oasis …..
‘Neath juniper and argan trees
The grasses taller, thicker
Laced with young tamarisk
All silhouette and statue still
Against nights curtain and cicadas song
Here, away from neon noise
Two lovers stand
Their urgent flesh
Contained by nothing more
Than loosely fitting lengths of cloth
The kiss is deep
The quaking tightness of their limbs
The gasps of breath
“I thought love lost” he said
“No...” said she, Her blushing smile unto his eyes
“...Just waiting to be found”
