By What Name ....
By What Name …
By what name shall we call it
Upon a list of wants and wishes
Be you rich as Croesus
The world will give you sycophants
But will it give you this
And there in time
A sparkle in the eye
That liquid smile,
A breathless word
That hollow thumping in your chest
The vital need of hands to touch
Each scented note upon the skin
Times which no memory imagined
Would ever dare or deem
To seek to wash away
Some things happen wordlessly
But this she whispered
“Can you feel my body press towards you now with each movement of our dance?”
The rest I may not share dear reader
But it was loves honest best
