The One Who Makes Me Smile
By: Tara Rickman
His smile brings me happiness
And those lips of him make me long for a kiss
His charm is undeniable
And that laugh of his is so transmittable
The blue in his gorgeous eyes
Makes me realize
Realize there can be a better tomorrow
Even if today was filled with sorrow
But as I implied before
His smile is something I adore
So every day I'm in his presence
A day of sadness is not on the order of business
Hearing his voice makes my day
Especially when the words are heading my way
He's a man's man that hunts and fishes
And I love the way he acts when he dishes
Dishes about the latest hunting trip and fish catches
He makes me feel warm all over
And it's not because of his skin that's been kissed by summer
He walks with his hands in his pockets
Unknowingly having the lockets
The lockets that open my heart
For the relationship he and I have yet to start
If this ever reaches him
I hope he and I are more than fiends
His smile brings me happiness
And those lips of him make me long for a kiss
His charm is undeniable
And that laugh of his is so transmittable
The blue in his gorgeous eyes
Makes me realize
Realize there can be a better tomorrow
Even if today was filled with sorrow
But as I implied before
His smile is something I adore
So every day I'm in his presence
A day of sadness is not on the order of business
Hearing his voice makes my day
Especially when the words are heading my way
He's a man's man that hunts and fishes
And I love the way he acts when he dishes
Dishes about the latest hunting trip and fish catches
He makes me feel warm all over
And it's not because of his skin that's been kissed by summer
He walks with his hands in his pockets
Unknowingly having the lockets
The lockets that open my heart
For the relationship he and I have yet to start
If this ever reaches him
I hope he and I are more than fiends
