Cupidity

I love to listen to you
How you hate your work
The puddle of mud your life's become
I love listening to you
That's why I keep praising you with my silence

I have bumped into pretty faces once in a while
That stripped the judgement down to
a sculpted frame, a hint of cuteness and a prospect of riches
Maybe,in this moment, their shoes will fit my sole.

You are not pretty enough for me

you're better off being the burden
moving my pen tonight.
