Guardian

A sullen saviour sees only duty,
He acts as no Hero to anyone.
A lost soul that's seen to be striving,
but a deferrented deed is done and gone.
Horizons shine first at the break of day,
But foremost assist the dusk.
Half cup full, or half cup lacking,
Fill his with whiskey, and leave him to rust.
