Whisper....

Another night alone,
Your distant whisper,
Now a deafening tone.

I remember holding you each morning,
Gazing at your smile, was my favourite thing to do,
Love was upon us, What more is there to say,
How did we get to where we are today?

Days, months and years will pass,
But you know i'll still ask the question,
It will slowly tear me apart but I must know,
How did we lose direction?

Right or wrong, life must go on,
Theres simply no other way,
And now I dare to dream,
Of you and the way we were,
Every night I continue to live it,
If only I couldn't hear that whisper...
