Final Detox

I love drugs.
uppers, downers, cherry clowners.
All my friends do it,
Some cuz it makes them think there bad, some cuz if they don't there sad.
Me? I liked drugs first cuz of the buzz.
Then became hooked to the Rebel book.
Rocka, rolla, Naughty kicks.
The big kids version of stealin pick n mix.
then theres that crazy episode.
from terror to bliss i wouldn't be told.
Then depression said hello.
Doctors answer- blue meanies for you.
Valium is just the start.
Zombie drugs, drugs you need, drugs that makes your pride smart.
So drugs, should I stop?
Lets start with weed, everyone does it harmless hmm..
to be honest it fun.
But is it worth risking phycosis again and hanging around with pervey men?
Then speed, i don't see the hype and the comedown is like an evil ghoul in the night.
Ecstasy! MDMA.
Loved up nights, chillin the next day.
But it borring now i see through the vibe,
like soma for the brain its not real not how it really is to be alive.
trips? My minds mad enough, I don't want to see the stars dance, I don't want to think that deep.
I've seen people go permantly insane, i don't fancy that in my brain.
Cocaine that glamourous thing, taking you to to meet James Dean.
Its to expensive for one and it never lasts, its a liars drug a drug for covering up.
It's Big bad brother Crack ur kissin angels on that.
But it turns people bad,
the culture is sour.
I don't want to be a slave to a rock!
Heroin!
Watching people die isn't fun
its the killer, the number one.
So here I am in the night detoxing from valium for the last time,
and writing this poem makes me see how far i've been sucked in,
if  i don't stop now I'll give in.
So to the rollercoaster i'll finally say goodbye.
Because fly to high and you'll miss the sky!
