Chosen
Black, Red, and White
Black, red, and white
Tell me what they have in common
Showdown at midnight
Saints, Sinner, all alike
You have been chosen
In the Blink of an eye
Chaos rules the sky
In counts of three
The skies changin’ green
Can you hear the thunder of heaven?
Can you hear the Martyr’s song?
Can you hear our Elyon crying,
As wickedness of the world rules on?
Black, Red, and White
Tell me what they have in common
Showdown at midnight
Saints, Sinners, all alike
You have been chosen
Black as night should the world
See through
A blackened heart,
A world confused
Deception hidden behind beauty’s face
Creates an obsession of a wanting race
Stepping towards the forest of darkness,
He still loves us with a freeing grace
Red, flows in rivers of blood
Washed us clean from our filth and mud
He hangs on a cross of wood
Bathing us with his sacrificial love
Can you hear heaven’s wager
Made for the blackened hearts of men?
Can you hear heaven’s weeping,
But know he shall come to rise again
Black, Red, and White
Tell me what they have in common
Showdown at midnight
Saints, Sinners, all alike
You have been chosen
White uncovers our once blinded eyes
Shows the journey of our demise
We are now in a place that’s blessed
Tucked securely within his breast
He gave us life through his death
Words of Truth singing from his breath
A bride to be, we have become
To the Father of the Son
Black, Red, and White
Shows the journey of our Christ’s plight
Showdown at midnight
Saints, Sinners, all alike
We have all been chosen.
Why can’t you see?
He came, died for you and me
Take up the word,
Dawn them with His majesty
Stand firm, take arm, proceed
For he has come, he has risen,
And you have been chosen to lead
Black, red, and white
Tell me what they have in common
Showdown at midnight
